ਦੌਲਤ ਦਾ ਰਾਖਾ

ਮੇਰੀ ਕਬਰ ਤੇ ਲਿਖ ਦਈਂ 

ਦੌਲਤ ਦਾ ਰਾਖਾ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ 

ਖਾਲੀ ਹੱਥ ਰਿਹਾ 

ਖਾਲੀ ਗਿਆ 

ਅੱਜ ਹੋਰਾਂ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰ ਗਿਆ 

ਮੇਰੀ ਕਬਰ ਤੇ... 

ਇਹ ਵੀ ਲਿਖੀਂ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਸੀ 

ਰਸਮੇ ਵਿਦਾਈ ਦੇ ਲਈ 

ਪਰ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਿੰਦਾ ਆਲ਼ਣੇ ਚੋ 

ਉਸ ਤੇ ਡੱਕਾ ਧਰ ਗਿਆ 

ਇਹ ਵੀ ਲਿਖੀਂ ਉਸ ਮਗਰੋ 

ਇੱਕ ਤਨਹਾਈ ਹੀ ਰੋਂਦੀ ਰਹੀ 

ਓਹ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਚੰਦਰਾ 

ਤਨਹਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਲੀ ਕਰ ਗਿਆ 

ਮੇਰੀ ਕਬਰ ਤੇ... 

ਕਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਗਈ ਦੋਲਤ 

ਜਿਹੜੀ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਚਲੀ? 

ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਰਿਹਾ 

ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ 

ਹੋਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਖੇ ਕਰ ਗਿਆ
