ਗ਼ਜ਼ਲ

ਉਹ ਆਈ ਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਖਾਬ ਦੇ ਗਈ
ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੀਂਦਰ ਜੁਆਬ ਦੇ ਗਈ

ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਮੋੜ ਤੇ ਸਮਝਨਾ
ਉਹ ਖਾਰ ਦੇ ਗਈ ਯਾਂ ਗੁਲਾਬ ਦੇ ਗਈ

ਪੜ੍ਹੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਉਹਦੇ ਗਿਲੇ ਸ਼ਿਕਵੇ
ਆਪਣੇ ਮੁਖ ਦੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਦੇ ਗਈ

ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਸੀ ਉਸਦੀ ਮੁਹਬਤ ਦਾ ਵਾਸਤਾ
ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਫ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਦੇ ਗਈ

ਰੋਜ਼ ਤਾਰੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਤਰਦੇ ਰਾਤ ਭਰ
ਹਮਦਮ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਖਾਂ 'ਚ ਤਲਾਬ ਦੇ ਗਈ
