ਮੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਸ 13 ਕਿਲੋ ਮੀਟਰ ਦੁਰ ਹੀ ਸੁਗਰ ਮਿਲ ਹੈ ... ਤੇ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਗੰਨੇ ਦੀ ਭਰਮਾਰ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਸੀ .. ਹੁਣ ਤਾਂ ਕਾਫੀ ਘੱਟ ਹੋ ਚੁਕੀ ਹੈ .. ਪਰ ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਰੱਜ ਕੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਆ ... ਮੇਰਾ ਘਰ ਸੰਜੀਵ ਸਿਨੇਮਾ ਚੋਕ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਬੋਹਰੀ ਅੱਡੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ .. ਓਥੋਂ ਬਸ 5 ਮਿੰਟ ਦੀ ਦੂਰੀ ਤੇ ਹੈ ...ਓਥੇ ਇਕ ਸਕੂਲ ਵੀ ਹੈ .. ਅਸੀਂ ਓਸ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੀ ਕੰਧ ਤੇ ਬੇਠ ਕੇ ਇੰਤਜਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸੀ ਟਰਾਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ...ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਨੇ ... ਡਿੱਗ ਕੇ .. ਘਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਕਾਯੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਕੁੱਟ ਵੀ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਸੀ ... .. ਕਈ ਵਾਰੀ ਟ੍ਰਾਲੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਭਾਈ ਹੀ ਪਿਛੇ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸੀ । ....

ਅੱਜ ਕਲ ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ .. ਪਰ ਓਦੋਂ ਹਰ ਉਮਰ ਦਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਮਿੰਟਾ ਚ ਕਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ ...
