ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਥੋੜ ਤਾਂ ਨਾ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ

ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਥੋੜ ਤਾਂ ਨਾ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ
ਨੱਢੇ ਲਫਜ਼ ਰੁਆਵਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਲੋੜ ਤਾਂ ਨਾ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ

ਹੁਸਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਗਦੇ ਦਰਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਬੁੱਕ ਭਰ ਪੀ ਲੈਂਦਾ
ਪਿਆਸ-ਗ੍ਰਸੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਜ ਤੋੜ ਤਾਂ ਨਾ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ

ਆਸ-ਪਿੱਪਲ ਦੇ ਮੋਛੇ ਸੱਕਾਂ ਸਾਬਤ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੇ
ਹਿਜਰਾਂ ਚੱਕੀ-ਰੀਹੇ ਰੂਹੀਂ ਖੋੜ ਤਾਂ ਨਾ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ

ਆਸ ਪੁਗਾਵਣ ਖਾਤਿਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਲਿਖ ਜਾਂਦਾ
ਆਸਾਂ , ਲਿਖਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਲਣੀ ਬੇਜੋੜ ਤਾਂ ਨਾ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ

ਤੇਰੀ ਗਲ-ਵਕੜੀ ਗੁੰਮ ਹੋਇਆ ਰੱਜ ਕੇ ਰੋ ਲੈਂਦਾ
ਰਾਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਲਕੀਂ-ਰੜਕਾਵਣ ਲੋੜ ਤਾਂ ਨਾ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ

ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਸਕਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਵੇਂ ਜੇ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ
ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਧਾਰਾ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਮੁਖ-ਮੋੜ ਤਾਂ ਨਾ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ
