ਜਿੰਦੇ…..

ਕੁੱਝ ਕੋਮਲ ਚੇਹਰੇ ਕਲੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ, ਬਣ ਗਏ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਖਾਰ ਜਿੰਦੇ

ਨੀਂ ਤੂੰ ਬਚਦੀ ਬਚਦੀ ਕੰਡਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ,ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖਾ ਗਈ ਮਾਰ ਜਿੰਦੇ…

ਦੀਦ ਜੀਹਦੀ ਲਈ ਤਰਸੀਆਂ ਅੱਖੀਆਂ, ਰਾਹੀਂ ਨੈਣ ਵਿਛਾਏ ਸੀ

ਆਪਣੇ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਹੋਏ ਆਪਣੇ, ਉਹ ਵੀ ਰਹੇ ਪਰਾਏ ਸੀ

ਜਾਨ ਪਰਾਈ ਕਰ ਬੈਠੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਅੰਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਤਬਾਰ ਜਿੰਦੇ…

ਨੀਂ ਤੂੰ ਬਚਦੀ ਬਚਦੀ ਕੰਡਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ,ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖਾ ਗਈ ਮਾਰ ਜਿੰਦੇ…

ਪੰਧ ਲੰਮੇਰਾ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਜੋ ,ਰਾਹੀ ਸਾਥ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਸੀ

ਬਿਖੜੇ ਪੈਂਡੇ ਤੁਰ ਗਿਆ ਛੱਡਕੇ, ਮੁੜ ਨਾ ਝੱਲਾ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ

ਗਈ ਪਰਖੀ ਗੱਲ ਸਿਆਣਿਆਂ ਦੀ ,ਕਦ ਕੱਚਿਆਂ ਲਾਇਆ ਪਾਰ ਜਿੰਦੇ

ਨੀਂ ਤੂੰ ਬਚਦੀ ਬਚਦੀ ਕੰਡਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ,ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖਾ ਗਈ ਮਾਰ ਜਿੰਦੇ…

ਹਾਸੇ ਲੱਭਦਿਆਂ ਝੋਲੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਉਮਰ ਸਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਰੋਣਾ ਏ,

ਕੀ ਪਤਾ ਸੀ ਨਾਲ ਅਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਇੰਝ ਵੀ ਕਿਧਰੇ ਹੋਣਾ ਏ

ਸਮਝ ਕੇ ਸੁਪਣਾ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਬੀਤਿਆ, ਗਮ ਬਣਾ ਲੈ ਯਾਰ ਜਿੰਦੇ

ਨੀਂ ਤੂੰ ਬਚਦੀ ਬਚਦੀ ਕੰਡਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ,ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖਾ ਗਈ ਮਾਰ ਜਿੰਦੇ…
