ਜਦ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਹਿਰ ਖਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਆਵੇ ਸਿਖਰ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ,

ਓ ਰਾਜ ਕਾਕੜੇ ਬੋਹੜਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਛਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਿਕਰ ਕਰੀਂ ||

ਜਦ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਹਿਰ ਖਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਆਵੇ ਸਿਖਰ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ,

ਓ ਰਾਜ ਕਾਕੜੇ ਬੋਹੜਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਛਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਿਕਰ ਕਰੀਂ ||

ਸੱਜਣਾ ਵੇ ਸੱਜਣਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਾਲੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ,
ਕਿੰਨੀ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਦੁਪਿਹਰ.........
ਫੇਰ ਵੀ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀ ਕਾਹਤੋਂ ਮੋਹ ਜਿਹਾ ਆਈ ਜਾਂਦੈ,
ਭਾਵੇਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਸੜ ਗਏ ਨੇ ਪੈਰ.....................
