ਮਾਵਾਂ

ਕਲਮ ਰੋਵੇ ਸਿਆਹੀ ਰੋਵੇ,
ਜਦ ਮਾਂ ਅੱਖਰ ਕਾਗਜ਼ ਤੇ ਵਾਵਣ੍|

ਪੁੱਤ ਰੌਦੇ ਧੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਰੋਵਣ,
ਜਦ ਮਾਵਾਂ ਕਦੇ ਚੇਤੇ ਆਵਣ|

ਬਸ ਰੋਣਾਂ ਹੀ ਪੱਲੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਵੇ,
ਜਦ ਮਾਵਾਂ ਕੂਚ ਜਹਾਨੋਂ ਜਾਵਣ|

ਮੈ ਰੋਵਾ ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਫੋਟੋ ਸਾਵੇਂ,
ਤੇ ਮਣ ਮਣ ਅੱਖੀਉ ਅੱਥਰੂ ਆਵਣ|

ਰੱਬ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਭਾਵੇ ਲੱਖ ਸੁਗਾਤਾਂ,
ਪਰ ਮਾਂ ਬਾਜੋ ਭੋਰਾ ਨਾ ਭਾਵਣ|

ਮਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ "ਪੀ੍ਤ" ਰੋ ਮਾਰਣ ਧੱਫੇ,
ਉਹ ਝੋਲੀ 'ਚ ਦੁੱਖ ਹੀ ਪਾਵਣ|

ਵੈਸੇ ਤਾਂ ''ਮਾਂ" ਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ 'ਚ ਏਨੀ ਗਹਿਰਾਈ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹਨੂੰ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ, ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧੀਆ ਤੇ ਬਾਖੂਬੀ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਲਿਖਤ ਵਿੱਚ "ਮਾਂ" ਦੀ ਅਹਿਮੀਅਤ ਦਰਸਾਈ ਹੈ| ਪੜ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਈ|
