ਉਸਨੇ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਚੰਨ ਸਾਂਭ ਲਿਆ ਚੁੱਪ ਕਰਕੇ
   ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾ ਕਿਹਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਆਈ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ
   ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਤਨ-ਮਨ ਉਸਦੇ ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗ ਲਿਆ,
   ਉਹ ਝੱਲੀ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਾ ਮੇਚੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜ਼ਾਤ ਨੂੰ....
