ਅਸੀਂ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ ਆ ਕੁੱਝ, ਤੂੰ ਜਵਾਬ ਹੋਰ ਦਿੰਨਾ ਏ,
ਪੂਰੇ ਕਰਨੇ ਨਈਂ ਜੇ, ਕਾਹਤੋਂ ਖ਼ਾਬ ਹੋਰ ਦਿੰਨਾ ਏ..

ਵਿਛੋੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਖਮਾਂ ਦਾ, ਦਿਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੋਝ ਬੜਾ,
ਓਏ ਤਿੱਖਾ ਬੋਲ ਕਾਹਤੋਂ, ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਬ ਹੋਰ ਦਿੰਨਾ ਏ..

ਇਹ ਜ਼ਮਾਨਾ ਹੀ ਬਥੇਰਾ, ਲੂਣ ਜ਼ਖਮਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਾਉਣ ਨੂੰ,
ਕਾਹਤੋਂ ਰੋਸਿਆਂ ਨਾ ਜ਼ਖਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਦਾਬ ਹੋਰ ਦਿੰਨਾ ਏ..

ਤੂੰ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਏ, ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਾ ਕੀ ਸਾਡਾ ਏ,
ਕਾਹਤੋਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਸਾਹਮੇਂ ਮੰਨੇ ਨਾ, ਨਕਾਬ ਹੋਰ ਦਿੰਨਾ ਏ..

ਕਿੰਨੀ ਮਿਲੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ, ਗਮੀਂ, ਅਸੀਂ ਮੰਗੀ ਨਹੀਂਓ ਗਿਣਤੀ,
ਓਏ "ਜੱਸੇ ਔਜਲੇ" ਨੂੰ ਯਾਰਾ ਕਿਂਓ, ਹਿਸਾਬ ਹੋਰ ਦਿੰਨਾ ਏ..
