ਸ਼ਾੲਿਦ ਮੈਂ ਕੰਜਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ........

ਹਰ ਰੋਜ ਦੀ ਤਰਾਂ, ਸਵੇਰੇ ੳੁਠ

ਰੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਜੁਗਾੜ ਲੲੀ

ਨਿੱਕਲ ਪੲੀ ਅਾ ਘਰੋਂ

ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੋਰੀ, ਲੱਕੜ ਦੀ ਸੋਟੀ

ਸੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਥੱਲੇ ਲੱਗਿਅਾ ਚੁੰਬਕ ਪੱਥਰ

ਗਲੀਅਾਂ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੂੜਾ ਫਰੋਲਦੀ

ਨਾਲੀਅਾਂ ਛਾਣਦੀ...........

ਕੀ ਦੇਖਦੀ ਹਾਂ

ਸੋਹਣੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਾੲੀਅਾਂ

ਤਿਅਾਰ ਹੋੲੀਅਾਂ ਕੁੜੀਅਾਂ

ਹੱਥ ਚ ਪਲੇਟਾਂ ਸਮਾਨ ਫੜ

ੲਿੱਧਰ ਉਧਰ ਘਰਾਂ ਚ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਅਾਂ

ਹੱਸਦੀਅਾਂ, ਖਿਲਖਲਾਉਂਦੀਅਾਂ

ਸੁਣਿਅਾਾ... ਅੱਜ ਕੰਜਕ ਹੈ

ੲਿਹ ਸਾਰੀਅਾਂ ਕੰਜਕਾਂ ਹਨ

ਕੁਝ ਪਲ ਲੲੀ ਰੁਕ ਗੲੀ ਹਾਂ

ਦੇਖ ਰਹੀ ਹਾਂ ਸਭ ਵਲ

ਸ਼ਾੲਿਦ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਕੋੲੀ ਅਾਵਾਜ ਮਾਰੇ

ਪਰ ਸ਼ਾੲਿਦ ਮੈਂ ਕੰਜਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾ

ਕੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਵੀ ਕਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ?

ਸੋਹਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਾਉਣਾ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਹਾਂ

ੲਿਹ ਸਭ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ

ਸੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਥੱਲੇ ਲੱਗਿਅਾ ਚੁੰਬਕ ਪੱਥਰ

ਗਲੀਅਾਂ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੂੜਾ ਫਰੋਲਦੀ

ਨਾਲੀਅਾਂ ਛਾਣਦੀ...........

ਕੀ ਦੇਖਦੀ ਹਾਂ

ਸੋਹਣੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਾੲੀਅਾਂ

ਤਿਅਾਰ ਹੋੲੀਅਾਂ ਕੁੜੀਅਾਂ

ਹੱਥ ਚ ਪਲੇਟਾਂ ਸਮਾਨ ਫੜ

ੲਿੱਧਰ ਉਧਰ ਘਰਾਂ ਚ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਅਾਂ

ਹੱਸਦੀਅਾਂ, ਖਿਲਖਲਾਉਂਦੀਅਾਂ

ਸੁਣਿਅਾਾ... ਅੱਜ ਕੰਜਕ ਹੈ

ਪਰ ਸ਼ਾੲਿਦ ਮੈਂ ਕੰਜਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾ

ਕੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਵੀ ਕਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ?
