ਤਿੜਕੇ ਸ਼ੀਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ.......

ਤੇਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਚ਼ ਲੋਕੀਂ ਵਕਤ ਆਜ਼ਾਈ ਗਾਲ਼ ਰਹੇ
ਤਿੜਕੇ ਸ਼ੀਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਾਂਭਤ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਭਾਲ ਰਹੇ

ਸੰਗਤ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਗਦੀ ਨਈਉਂ ਅਕਲਾਂ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ
ਪੰਨੇ ਪਾੜ ਕੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਖਾਲ਼ੀ ਜਿਲਦਾਂ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਰਹੇ

ਤੇਰੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਹਰ ਮੌਸਮ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਗੜ ਗਈ ਮੇਰੀ
ਜੇਠ ਹਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਠਰਿਆ ਮੈਂ ਮੱਚਦੇ ਸਿਆਲ ਰਹੇ

ਉੱਪਰ ਉੱਠਕੇ ਮੱਚਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਬੜੀ ਛੋਟੀ
ਪਾਣੀ ਦਿਸਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਵਗਦਾ ਨੀਵੀਂ ਢਾਲ ਰਹੇ

ਹਵਾ ਤਾਂ ਆਈ ਹਰੇਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ ਹੱਸਣ ਖ਼ੇਡਣ ਲਈ
ਸੁੱਕੇ ਪੱਤੇ ਨੱਚ-ਨੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਹਾਲ਼ ਰਹੇ

ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲੇ਼ ਉਹ ਦੌਲ਼ਤ ਜੋ ਲੁੱਟੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਦੀਂ
ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਾਂ "ਨਿੰਦਰ" ਮਾਲਾਮਾਲ਼ ਰਹੇ...
