oh pal mera ho ke vi,

mere hathan vichon kir geya...

lakh koshish kiti sambhan di,

par hawa wich kidhre ghul geya...

us pal nu man wich sametan layi,

seene te usnu lapet leya...

ik hawa da rukha jhonka aa,

kidhre door uda ke lai geya.........
