• Mere hisaab naal education line chunan vele sab ton pehlan ais gall da khyaal keeta jave ke course/degree complete hon ton baad kis taran dee job keeti jaa sakdi hai ya mil sakdi hai..kehre kehre field vich os course dee value hai....kyon ke education asin sirf educated kahaun lai nahin lainde sagon educate ho ke apne pairan te kharey hon lai v lainde haan...
• Ehe gall zaroori hai ke financial limitations da khyaal rakhya javey...per main note keeta hai ke bahut sarey students financially week nahin hundey per lack of guidence karan sahi disha da chunav nahin kar paunde.......
• Bright future lai zaroori hai ke student apni disha da bilkul theek chunaav karey....

Main note keeta hai ke bahut sarey students job prospects nu dekhde hoye BSc. ya engineering courses karna chahunde hunde ne per 10+1 te 10+2 vich english medium dekh ke dar jande ne....Main ohna students dee gall kar riha haan jehre hushiyaar ate kabil hunde ne per hindi/punjabi medium schools vich pardh rahe hunde ne ate dil de vich English bolan te likhan dee jhijak hundi hai....

Ajehe students lai mera sujhaav hai ke English medium vich science de studies sagon hor easy ho jandi hai...te aam kar ke Nonmedical te medical colleges/schools vich punjabi/hindi bol ke hee padhaya janda hai...Naaley jadon har waqt students ne english vich likhna/padhna hunda hai taan apne aap command aa jandi hai...

Ais lai english medium ton dar ke kadey v decision nahin laina.....

1. iss gall da barha farak painda hai...ke aapna aale duaale kinni ku awareness hundi hai....

2. second is interest.... student da interest kis field ch ae uss nu khud nu pachhana hunda hai.... kayi maape main suneya bande nu dhakke naal engineering wagaira ya medical ch paunde ne.......... most important thing is know ur interest ur talent..n if you are aware that the field u r going to choose has the bright prospects when u ll pass out..... then go all out for it....

3. It is not necessary that choosing engineering or medical will always secure ur future... what ever ur field the only thing is the Hard Work that will secure ur future.....  be prepared for it....

Thanks for your comments....I do agree to your points but I would surely like to add a few remarks which should be considered in conjunction.

As I have already mentioned in my post that we do get education, not just for the sake of "wisdom" but also to be able to stand on our own feet. Being practical is as important as being wise. Remember the phrase.   ".......healthy, *WEALTHY* & wise".....not just wise....

The best scenario is when the interest is of the kind that you are able to get economic independence out of it (I presume here that everybody is not lucky enough to have parental property to survive upon). However, all the interests may or may not lead to economic independence in a reasonable time frame. (Time frame needs to be kept in mind...it should not happen that you have interest in a certain field, you have talent also, but the time it will take to succeed in that particular field is out of proportion....in the mean time you may start feeling "left out".........)

So, to secure your future, it is important to choose a line which will lead to a success and to add to this the interests can be pursued alongside through out your life.

I expect all of you to please give your comments on what I have written.But please do not restrict yourself to just counter remarks, but also please give additional suggestions, the reason for which this topic has been started.

we do have interst/aptitude tests available at various career guidance cells in all colleges n universities.

moreover schools also conduct such counselling sessions now to bring forth the real intelligence of children.

As far as earning and learning is concerned .........quick n easy money can be procured from all the short term  vocational courses as well

but as far as serious learning and skill development is concerned it no doubt needs time n devotion on the part of the students.

western cultures do believe in d notion one to earn n one to learn concept....thy provide thm with on campus jobs so tht thy can earn while thy learn.

but here in India students  being dependent on parents/guardians do have to devote time-energy-money to attain degrees......thy do have to look for best available option in d job market. So is gal da dhyan pehla hee rakh leya jave what r d best possible jobs to choose from n wat all he/she is ready to go through to achieve tht position.Choice should be left entirely on the student n not forced on him.

Proffession and interest alwaz don't end up matchng each other thts our youth's tragedy today. Need is to lessen this gap.

You have written very well about availability of counselling cells in schools and colleges, but I guess such cells are really not active enough to provide real support & guidance to the students, Moreover, I believe such cells are not as common as you mention in your post.

Nevertheless, you have pointed out a good point that now a days the tragedy is that student's interests and the education line usually do not match. Hre I would like to contribute that even if for a short period the pusuit of interests goes out of reach, but surely down the line in a few years, the interests acan be pursued on personal level parallely to the ongoing business/job activity schedule.

Following this line of thinking, in my belief, leads to a more suatainable scenario where in the man/woman becomes economically independent as well as they are able to pursue their lines of interests.

Please do not feel offended if i happen to be in disagreement with your idea. Also I look forward to hear from you more on the subject.

As u said interst can be pursued along with ones proffesion......easy said thn done sir.....how can u imagine an engineer doing 9to5 job plus some extra hrs as well.....to pursue his passion of photography......for which he once thought to choose it as career bcoz his interest lies in thr. once a person gets into any trade....sorry to say busy schedules and  meeting deadlines hardly leaves "LIFE" in to your so called LIFE.

As i said earlier one should be deliberately ready to pursue field of ones choice watevr d situation might be. Dedication , motivation and never say die spirit along with family support of course should be there.

Dekhya janda ke evn today maximum career choces are made by the parents and not the wards thmselves making things difficult for thm.....reason is thy curb under the burden.....chalo je ro dho ke doctor engineer ban v gaye thn d tough job prospects screws thm up......so thy start thinking once again whether the chioce thy made was correct.

Need is to change the mental set of people k fer kee ho gya je ik dr.da beta dr.na ban ke ik famous painter ban gya ta kee nuksan ho gya ...atleast he loves n likes wat he is doing.Newaz if one is ready to go through all the hardships and struggle a career demands thn thr is no looking back for thm.

hanji as u said counselling cells although not pretty well popular but thy do exist need of the hour is proper promotion....whn n where it is provided...ehi nee pta chalda lokan nu tahee kehnd ene k counselling kis bla da naam aa g asin nee suni.....need is parents and guardians along with the ward seek counselling .......counsellors ne jande hunde labhan clients nu.....i personally feel it helps a lot......if we really want to change the system thn its d need of the hour.
