Heaven is for real by Todd Burpo: Story of 3-year old Colton who in the operation theatre had a visit to heaven and back to earth... and in subsequent years, his child-like memory describe heaven in short and precise talks.
Very touching and cute real life story of Burpo family.
Siddhartha is a novel by Hermann Hesse that deals with the spiritual journey of an Indian man named Siddhartha during the time of the Buddha.
The book, Hesse's ninth novel (1922), was written in German, in a simple, powerful, and lyrical style. It was published in the U.S. in 1951 and became influential during the 1960s. Hesse dedicated Siddhartha to his wife Meiner Frau Ninon gewidmet [1] & supposedly afterwards to Romain Rolland[2] and Wilhelm Gundert.
The word Siddhartha is made up of two words in the Sanskrit language, siddha (achieved) + artha (meaning or wealth). The two words together mean "he who has found meaning (of existence)" or "he who has attained his goals".[3] The Buddha's name, before his renunciation, was Prince Siddhartha Gautama. He was Prince of Kapilvastu, Nepal. In this book, the Buddha is referred to as "Gotama".

Bahut hi changa lagaa eh topic dekh k. Gall te hairani waali v hai ate dukhad v, par 8th class ton baad main koi punjabi kitaab hale tak rooh naal padh nhi paaya si. Kuch din pehlan main Shah Mohammad ji di likhat 'Jangnama' padhi te us ton baad mere man vich punjabi kaviyan nu padhan di chaah hor v goodhi ho gyi. Pr punjabi saahitt bare bahut hi ghat gyaan hon kaaran, main hale tak koi nvi rachna nhi padh paya si. So, es topic diyan posts ton meri jaankari wich kaafi waadha hoya, jis lyi main sabh da shukarguzaar han.
Meri aj tak di most favourite kitaab hai ji, "Shantaram". Gregory David Roberts di likhi is kitaab baare je koi menu puchhe te main kahanga, "It is about everything in the world". Sachmuch hi,zindagi da shayad hi koi aisa pehlu howega jisnu author ne vistaar naal ate bahut hi sohne dhang naal vyakat na kita howe. Kitaab di shuruaat hi menu aisa sabak de gayi jo mainu baar baar yaad aunda rehnda hai jad mainu kise gall te ya kise bande te gussa aa reha howe.
I have learned to forgive people for everything after reading this book. It is a must read for everyone who likes reading. Size tan isda bhaawein ik sirhaane jinna hai, pr hr ik page romaanch ate sahittak khoobsoorti naal bhrya hai.
